About

I am a senior software engineer living and working in New York City. I currently work at KoBold Metals where I focus on distributed computation for discovery of battery metals. Previosly, I worked at the Flatiron Institute, a center dedicated to research in many areas of computational science. I worked in the genomics group where I built a pipeline to power the HumanBase project. My background is originally in physics; I got my undergraduate degree in physics and math at UC Berkeley and my Ph.D. in astrophysics at Brown.

Outside of my professional life, my interests include leftist politics, history, philosophy, NBA basketball, video games, and being extremely online. All views expressed are extremely my own.
